
Colleton County First Responders invites you to their National Night Out on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 6pm to 8pm. This is a great way to meet your local first responders. This is a free event and they will have food, vendors, games and more.

Ms. Fussell shared "My Honors choir kiddos had a fantastic debut performance last week, and they are already looking forward to their next performance. Music at FHE really is great. This is the email she sent me, "Just wanted you to know that in all the classrooms I observed in today, your TCTC kiddos were actively engaged and working with BSECC students. Cole was even helping to assess their letter knowledge. Great job to you and all of your students!" I am beyond proud of the future teachers we are growing right here in Colleton County. "

The Colleton County High School Band of Blue Booster Club will host the 2025 Walterboro Band Classic at Cougar Stadium in Walterboro, SC, on September 27, 2025. This will be our 48th year hosting the classic. Judges this year are Martin Dickey, David O'Shields, Ken Turner, Nikki Crawford, Randy Grantham and Jason Johnson.

On September 16, 2025, Colleton County School District had the great honor of recognizing the Office of Transportation for their hard work and dedication to the safety of transporting our students to and from school. Our transportation department is a vital part of our school district, and we thank the team for all they do.
We also had the pleasure of recognizing our students for the month of September. The Colleton County Middle School Robotics Team and the Northside Elementary Safety Patrol greeted our guests and read the mission statement for the Regular Board meeting. The Colleton County Office of Gifted and Talented Education will be hosting its Annual Meeting on Monday, September 22, at 6 PM in the Colleton County High School Performing Arts Center. This meeting is open to the community and all parents of students in the Colleton County School District, especially parents of students being served in the Gifted and Talented program, including parents of high school students enrolled in honors, dual enrollment, or early college courses. We look forward to seeing you there.
